An expressive journey – Cesco delivers a deep and melancholic cut for his debut on Crossings
Monaco based artist Cesco delivers a deep and melancholic cut for his debut on Crossings. “For Sure” embarks the listener on an expressive journey, an emotional conversation between the foreground melody and the pads Sorä, Massam and Stéphane Salerno‘s remix of for sure is astonishing. The combination between the dark pads, the driving baseline, and ever-evolving violin is flawless, unique and in perfect harmony with each of the artists’ signature sounds.
trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the EP?
Cesco: The inspiration came with the melody itself. I don’t like to put boundaries on music, it’s really about grooves for the body and melodies for the mind.
Where did you record it? And how?
The track was produced and recorded in my own personal studio (in Monaco). I’m a big fan of the Ableton and the new native instruments ecosystems in terms of software.
How did you get in contact with the record label?
I managed to get in contact with the label in Ibiza, during a storytellers event in Woomoon.
What’s up next after the release? Are you working on any other projects?
What’s next? Well more music, more melodies, with perhaps tracks that are dancefloor friendly. And I would like to thank Sora, Samir, and Stephane Salerno for their great remix, talent and kindness.
